Upcoming Deadlines-
ASAP AmeriCorps Citizenship Documentation Verification-
Upload your documents by following these steps:
- Log into the Applicant Center.
-Click the "Upload Employment Eligibility" tab (next to the "Need Based Transitional Funding" tab).
-Follow the system prompts/directions to upload documents.
*Please note that these same forms can be used as your employment eligibility forms requested below. View a list of documents that you can use here.
ASAP AmeriCorps Criminal History Check Authorization Form
You will be receiving an email on Friday, March 23 with AmeriCorps documents for you to review and sign for the 2018-19 year. Be on the lookout for an email from [email protected]with a unique link to access and complete your documents electronically using DocuSign. You will use access code “Tfargv12!” when prompted. It is imperative that you complete these documents by the required deadline, as failure to do so can affect your AmeriCorps benefits, including the Education Award.
Complete as soon as possible, but no later than May 23. Please email Erica Quintanilla with any questions

Induction
Our first summer training will be held in the TFA -RGV regional office in Mission, Texas
May 29th- June 2nd. If you for see a conflict with these dates please email Ana Gonzalez, our Executive Director. TFA -RGV will take care of your lodging and food unless you are local to our area. Exceptions are folks who live closer to the Brownsville area who will also be provided accommodations.
Summer Institute
Institute will ill be held in Houston, Texas June 3rd - July 7th; you have until May 14th to request an absence. Read the Institute Absence Policy here.
Teach For America's Institute Accommodations Request TFA strives to offer reasonable accommodations for corps members with disabilities during institute. Please use this link to request accommodations. The final deadline is May 10th to let us know if you have a disability that will impact your housing, mobility, medically-dictated dietary needs (i.e., diabetes, severe allergies), engagement with instructional materials during institute, etc.

- Register and apply to Project P.a.C.E.
- Pay the $95 Project P.a.C.E. application fee .
- Send a screenshot or copy of your receipt to Cindy Barrera .
- Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities you’ve attended. An overall GPA of 2.5 is required for admission.Submit sealed official transcripts from all colleges attended with the date degree conferred (DDC) to Project P.a.C.E. Send transcripts to Attn. Project P.a.C.E., 1900 W. Schunior, Edinburg, TX 78541.
- Digital transcripts should be submitted to [email protected].
- Submit your test scores of all exams taken to Cindy Barrera and cc Sandra de la Fuente.
